Series Description

Every child is forming beliefs about God. They are deciding who He is, what He is like, and whether He can be trusted. The question is not if they are becoming theologians. The question is whether their beliefs are being shaped by truth.

Theology simply means the study of God. This semester, we are helping kids discover what is true about Him. We will explore His character, nature, rescue plan, and promises. Over these 10 weeks, we will walk through the core beliefs that have shaped Christians for generations.

Our prayer is that because of who God is, every child will know that:

• They can trust Him completely.
• They are made in His image with value and purpose.
• Jesus came to rescue them from sin.
• Salvation is a gift of grace, not something they earn.
• The Holy Spirit is at work in them right now.
• They belong to God’s family, the Church.
• Their story ends with real and lasting hope.

Our goal is not just information. It is conviction.

We want kids to move from “I’ve heard about God” to “This I Believe.”
From borrowed faith to owned faith.
From uncertainty to confidence in what is true.

When children know who God is, they stand steadier in a confusing world. They grow in discernment. They develop courage. They build a faith that lasts.

This semester, we are not just teaching theology. We are helping kids say with confidence, This I Believe.

Memory Verse

Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

Series Description

Something powerful happens when a child learns to see the Bible as God’s Word — alive, trustworthy, and full of truth. When kids build their lives on Scripture, they grow strong and steady, like a tree planted by streams of water.

This semester, we want every child to know that because of God’s Word…

  • They can live a life that bears fruit.
  • They can stand firm when life is hard.
  • They can find wisdom for the choices they face.
  • They can grow in their love for God and others.
  • They can be shaped into who God made them to be.

Memory Verse

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers,
but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither – whatever they do prospers.
Palms 1:1-4

KIDMUNITY

Kidmunity is our 10-week Wednesday night program designed to help kids grow in their faith, have fun, and build meaningful relationships. Each week follows a consistent rhythm with time for arrival activities, a large group rally, rotations, and small groups. More than just a program, Kidmunity is about helping kids build lasting friendships with peers and trusted leaders while learning what it means to follow Jesus. We’re prioritizing biblical literacy, faith skills, and creating spaces where kids feel known, loved, and challenged to grow.

COMMUNITY

We believe kids grow best in the context of relationships. That’s why Kidmunity is structured around consistent small groups led by caring leaders. Kids are grouped by age and stay with the same leaders and peers throughout the semester. Along the way, we’re creating intentional moments for kids to share meals, play games, and talk together—because these shared experiences build trust and open the door for deeper conversations. Our hope is that Kidmunity becomes a place where kids form faith-inspired friendships that last well beyond the program.

FAITH SKILLS

This spring, our theme is This I Believe. Each week, we’re helping kids understand the core truths of the Christian faith—who God is, what He has done, and what it means to follow Him. We’ll explore foundational beliefs about the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, salvation, identity in Christ, and how our beliefs shape how we live.

Our goal is not just information, but formation. By the end of the 10 weeks, we want kids to confidently articulate what they believe and begin connecting those truths to their everyday lives.

SMALL GROUPS

Small Groups are at the heart of Kidmunity. As a small group leader, you’ll have multiple opportunities each night to connect with your kids through teaching short lessons, guiding activities, leading games, and creating space for real conversations. You’ll also help kids memorize and apply a weekly Bible verse, giving them tools to carry God’s Word into their everyday lives. Small Groups are where discipleship happens, one conversation at a time.

THANK YOU

Thank you for the way you serve! Kidmunity only works because of leaders like you who show up week after week to invest in the next generation. Megan and I are so grateful for your faithfulness and flexibility. We’ll continue to make adjustments as needed, but your presence and consistency make all the difference. Please let us know if you see areas for improvement—we want to keep making Kidmunity better together.
