They may not know each other, but do you know what they all have in common? Jesus loves every one of them. Every. Single. One! Think about it this way, if Jesus was driving a bus, everyone would be invited to get on. EVERYONE!
This month, you get to tell preschoolers that Jesus loves them. Jesus loves their family. Jesus loves their friends. Jesus loves everyone! And Jesus wants everyone to follow Him! So, crank up that bus! Get those wheels turning! There is a great big world that needs to hear that Jesus loves everyone!

Jesus Says, “Follow Me”
Story Focus: Jesus says, “Follow me.” Jesus chooses the first four of His twelve disciples. Jesus didn’t go to the synagogue filled with religious leaders to find them, and He didn’t go to the powerful political leaders to find them. Jesus went to a fishing village and tells four fishermen named Peter, Andrew, James, and John: “Follow Me.” And they do! Why four fishermen? Because Jesus loves everyone.
Week 2 (February 9)
Jesus Loves Everyone
Story Focus: Jesus loves everyone. Matthew is a tax collector. That means his job is to collect money from people, but he takes more money than he is should. That makes people very mad! But Jesus loves Matthew and wants to be his friend so He tells Matthew: “Follow Me!” And Matthew follows Jesus! Jesus has dinner at Matthew’s house and a lot of people show up. Some people ask, “Why would Jesus want to be friends with someone who makes bad choices?” Because Jesus loves everyone.
Week 3 (February 16)
I Can Tell My Friends About Jesus
Story Focus: I can tell my friends about Jesus. Jesus wants to be Philip’s friend, so he goes up to Philip and says, “Follow Me!” Philip is so excited that he looks for his friend Nathanael. Philip tells Nathanael all about Jesus and that he should come and see Him. Nathanael talks with Jesus, and right then, Nathanael knows that Jesus is God’s Son and that Jesus loves everyone. Philip and Nathanael become friends with Jesus because Jesus loves everyone.
Week 4 (February 23)
Jesus Wants Everyone to Follow Him
Story Focus: Jesus wants everyone to follow Him. Jesus chooses twelve disciples to follow Him. They come from different places and have different families and jobs. They are all different, but what is the same is that Jesus loves every one of them. The twelve disciples follow Jesus because Jesus loves everyone.
