Logistics for All Volunteers
Monday: Day One
Day One: Matthew’s Party
Bible Story: Matthew’s Party (Luke 5:27-32)
Jesus gives Matthew the greatest invite ever… to follow him. Matthew accepts and begins the amazing journey of becoming one of Jesus’s disciples. Matthew threw a huge banquet for Jesus and invited lots of people who had done wrong things. Jesus loved them and showed them a new way to live.
Bottom Line: Jesus is a great reason to have a party!
Small Group: In today’s conversation, you want to get to know the kids in your group and give them the opportunity to get to know you.
Tuesdsay: Day Two
Day Two: Parable of the Wedding Feast
Bible Story: Parable of the Wedding Feast (Matthew 22:1-14)
Jesus shares a story about a wedding feast to the religious leaders. It shows how everyone was invited, and included. The kingdom of God is for everyone. God has invited ALL of us to share in the party.
Bottom Line: Everyone is invited to the party.
Small Group: In today’s conversation, we want kids to see how Jesus invited everyone. We can make sure everyone knows they’re invited. Let’s make sure everyone feels welcome to come and learn about Jesus for themselves. Let’s share about what Jesus has done in OUR lives, because we know our lives are so much better because of Him!
Wednesday: Day Three
Day Three: Parable of the Lost Son
Bible Story: Jesus’ Parable of the Lost Son (Luke 15:11-32)
Jesus shares a story about a Lost Son to the religious leaders. The lost son leaves home and hits rock bottom, but he remembers his father and returns home to be welcomed with open arms and happiness.
Bottom Line: Celebrate the good news.
Small Group: In today’s conversation, we want kids to think about if they have or want to take the next step in putting their faith in Jesus. Share how God’s love has changed your life.
Thursdsay: Day Four
Day Four: You are the Light of the World
Bible Story: You Are the Light Of The World (Matthew 5:14-16)
Jesus said to let your light shine. What does this mean? It means we can share the good news of Jesus with others! You can share the joy that comes from following Him!
Bottom Line: You can be a party starter.
Small Group: In today’s conversation, we want kids to realize they can make a difference in the world. They can share Jesus with others and include everyone in the party!
