Series Description
This month, we will continue to live it out and discover how to love like Jesus with our preschoolers. Jesus showed us how to love in many ways as He helped people, was kind to them, forgave them, and was patient and gentle toward
them. Jesus was consistently showing us what love looks like.
There is another way we can learn how to love like Jesus and that is by doing what Jesus says. Jesus gave us very clear instructions on what to do, and then Jesus gave us the gift of His Holy Spirit to guide us and help us do it. That is why we want our preschoolers to learn that I can do what Jesus says . . . because they can! Preschoolers can do what Jesus says and show his love to everyone everywhere!

Jesus Forgives Peter
Forgive One Another
Matthew 26:31-35, 69-75; John 21:15-17; Colossians 3:13
Peter, one of Jesus’ closest friends, betrayed Jesus. Peter denied knowing Jesus not just once, but three times. Peter felt instant regret for his actions. But Jesus offered Peter forgiveness. Jesus told Peter that he forgave him and asked Peter to feed his sheep, meaning teach others to love like Jesus.
Week 2 (July 13)
Jesus Prays
Pray for One Another
John 17:1-26; 1 Timothy 2:1-3
Jesus, a true and faithful friend, prayed not only for his disciples but also for everyone who would choose to follow him. That means Jesus prayed for us! Because Jesus loves us, he prayed for us, and now Jesus wants us to pray for one another. When we pray for each other, we show Jesus’ love.
Week 3 (July 20)
Good Samaritan
Care for One Another
Luke 10:25-37; Galatians 6:2
Jesus tells a story about a man who was hurt and needed help. Many people passed by the injured man, but only one person stopped to help. Jesus calls this person the Good Samaritan. Through this story, Jesus teaches that our neighbor is anyone who needs our care, no matter who they are.
Week 4 (July 27)
Great Commission
Teach One Another
Matthew 28:19-20; Romans 15:14
Before ascending to heaven, Jesus gave His disciples important instructions. Jesus told them to go and make disciples all over the world. Jesus wants us to love like He does, and one way to do that is by telling others about Him. The disciples followed Jesus’ instructions, and their actions changed the world forever.
