These Waypoints: Brilliance, Boldness, and Belonging are rooted in God’s Word and help guide us toward the kind of life He wants for us. When we follow these truths, we discover who we are, how to treat others, and where we fit in His bigger story.
Memory Verse
Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. Psalm 25:4-5

Tuesday: Day One
Day One: God Sees What’s Inside
Bible Story: Samuel Anoints David (1 Samuel 16:1-13)
God sent the prophet Samuel to Bethlehem to find the next king of Israel. Jesse lined up his seven oldest sons, but God told Samuel that He doesn’t choose based on appearance—He looks at the heart. The youngest son, David, wasn’t even invited at first, but God saw something special in him and chose him to be king. Even when others overlook us, God sees our true worth.

Wednesday: Day Two
Day Two: Jesus Sees Zacchaeus
Bible Story: Jesus Sees Zacchaeus (Luke 19:1 – 10)
Zacchaeus was a tax collector who worked for the Romans and cheated people out of their money. He was disliked, ignored, and treated like he didn’t matter. But when Jesus came to town, He stopped, saw Zacchaeus in a tree, and chose to go to his house, treating him with kindness and dignity. Because Jesus saw value in him, Zacchaeus’ heart was changed, and he chose to make things right.
Waypoint: Boldness | I can treat others like they matter.
Small Group: Today, kids will see how Jesus loved and valued Zacchaeus, even when others didn’t. Small Group questions will help them explore how to boldly show kindness and include those who feel left out.
Dinner: Pizza& Chips, Watermelon, and Ice Cream Sandwiches
Thursday: Day Three
Day Three: Room at the Table
Bible Story: Parable of the Wedding Feast (Luke 14:15-24)
Jesus told a parable about a man who planned a big banquet and invited many people. But when the invited guests made excuses and didn’t come, the man sent his servant out to invite others—the poor, the forgotten, and anyone he could find—so that the table would be full. The story shows that God’s invitation is for everyone, not just the popular or important. Jesus wants us to make room for others, just like He does.
Waypoint: Boldness | Belonging | Make Room for Someone New
Small Group: Today, kids will hear how God’s invitation is for everyone. Small Group questions will help them explore how to include, welcome, and make space for others to belong.
