Series Description
If you’ve ever been near a playground when an airplane flies by, you know the sound of the airplane is quickly followed by the sound of kids shouting with excitement! Their innate sense of wonder is immediately turned up as they ask questions like: Where do you think that plane is going? How big is that plane? How can it fly so high in the sky?
Today, our preschoolers will go to places like school, daycare, church, and grandparents’ houses. We know God has plans for each of them, and as they grow, they will go to even more places that might be even further away. We want to make sure that wherever they go, they can look to God with a trusting heart and say, “Let’s fly!” because they know God is always with me.

Week 1 (October 4)
God is Always With Me
Daniel loved God and prayed to God three times a day. But some other people who worked for the king tricked the king into creating a new law that said no one could pray to God. Daniel did what he had always done. He prayed to God. When the people saw Daniel praying to God, they ran and told the king, and the king threw Daniel into the lions’ den. But God was with Daniel in the lions’ den! God sent an angel to close the lion’s mouths. God was always with Daniel, and God is always with you, too!
Week 2 (October 11)
God Always Hears Me
Hagar and her son Ishmael were in a desert, and they ran out of water to drink. They were very thirsty. Hagar began to cry, and her son began to cry, too. An angel of God told Hagar, “God has heard the boy crying.” God was with Hagar and Ishmael! God helped Hagar see a well of water. Hagar quickly gave Ishmael some water to drink. God heard Hagar and Ishmael because God was always with them.
Week 3 (October 20)
God Has Plans for Me
Joseph’s dad gave him a very special coat, which made some of his brothers so mad they sent Joseph far away to work in a place called Egypt. While Joseph was there, he was sent to jail for something he didn’t do! But one day, the king of Egypt, named Pharaoh, had a dream, and God helped Joseph understand the dream. It meant that lots of food would grow for seven years, but after that, there would be seven years where no food would grow. Pharaoh was so happy that Joseph helped him that he put Joseph in charge of all of Egypt. Joseph saved up food and helped a lot of people—including his family! God had plans for Joseph, and God was always with him.
Week 4 (October 25)
God is With Me Wherever I Go
God told Jonah to go to the city of Nineveh to tell the people who lived there to do what God says and love one another. But Jonah did not want to go to Nineveh. So, Jonah went the other way and got on a boat! While Jonah was on the boat, there was a big storm. He knew that, if he got off the boat, the storm would stop. While Jonah was in the water, God sent a big fish to swallow Jonah and keep him safe. Jonah was in the fish for three days and three nights. While Jonah was inside the fish, he prayed to God, and then God made the fish spit Jonah out onto dry land. Once again, God told Jonah to go to Nineveh. This time, Jonah did what God said and he went to Nineveh. God loved Jonah and was always with him—in the boat, in the fish, and when he went to Nineveh.
